Filling in Team' Details
The final submission deadline for team details will be on January 8, 2010. We will use this information in making all arrangement of services during your stay for IVED as well as in making your ID badges and certificates - so please double check that the spelling etc. is correct, to avoid that you will have to pay for replacement fees later on!
To avoid spam or abuse of data, this form HAS TO BE filled in by your respective head delegates / contact person designated earlier from former registration process. Please let our Registration Director know once you are finished with your delegation form. Otherwise, your form will be disregarded.
For the sake of keeping this form from being horribly long, you are required to fill ONE FORM for EACH DEBATE TEAM your institution is going to send. So for example if Team UNHAS is going to send 3 teams, then CP of Team UNHAS will have to fill in this form 3 times for those 3 different teams.
Shall you find difficulties, please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Registration Director once again. Thanks.
-----------------------------
If you are an independent adjudicator, additional adjudicator, or observer, please fill in (or let your CP fill in) this additional delegate's details form instead.

Prepared Motions
We have finally arrived a month prior to IVED UNHAS 2011. The A-team have gone
through countless discussions to ensure that all of the motions are fair,
challenging, accessible, thus we are confident that the next IVED UNHAS will
generate great debates throughout the whole tournament. The A-team will make
sure that such fairness will be reflected for impromptu motions as well.
The next IVED provides a new experience by the existence Novice Break System. It
is a system that appreciates young talent thriving their way to the national
debating scene. As a consequence of having semis and a grand final for Novice
break we have 2 additional headings compared to previous IVEDs. There will be a
total of 12 headings.
We guarantee the secrecy of impromptu motions hence it will be determined in
discretion of the A team at the day of competition. This method will prevent any
chance of leak outs before the competition.
Directly to the point, Here are the 5 prepared motions for the tournament:

their children to determine their sexual orientation

sperm banks, etc.) to force couples to adopt

ENVIRONMENT

IVED 2011: Change of Adjudication Core Member
The following is the message from IVED UNHAS Adjudication Core:
========================================
Fellow indodebaters,
Warm greetings to you all.
Straight to the point of this email, we would like to inform you that the IVED adjudication core had to recently make a regrettable, but necessary, decision; a change of the core member.
Due to an impossibly difficult situation, we have consentually agreed to replace Ms. Dewi Wijayanti (UI) in the A-core. The reasons of her leaving is very important and is closely related to her personal career. We understand how a change of A-core should be taken as a last resort and that the reason behind the decision must be based on something of utmost importance, and we assure you that it was.
To replace Wijay, we have decided to enlist Mr. Ahmad Naufal Da'i. The decision was based on, obviously, capability, experience, and the fact that Naufal can represent the specific debating community Wijay represented in the A-core plus the younger generations.
Naufal is an eligible candidate based on the constitution, and we believe his exploits and achievements in the national scene has earned him a legitimate place in the A-core of a national tournament.
We assure you that this decision is not a hasty or immature decision. Careful thinking and deliberation, also adjustments, were done to ensure that we can provide you the best and memorable debating experience in the following competition.
Thank you.
On behalf of the adjudication core.
